TIPS FOR MAKING THE MOST OUT OF YOUR CLC WEEKEND
Show up on time, well-rested and prepared.
Stay hydrated and remember to eat at meals and throughout the day.
Wear comfortable shoes and don’t forget Ritual attire.
Clean up anything you may have left behind.
Bring your own device to use during tracks, but remember to silence cellphones during sessions and track time.
Check out the schedule beforehand to get the most out of sessions and prepare questions in advance.
Download the hotel map at www.navigategaylordhotels.com to help you navigate the property.
Meet with your chapter’s CLC attendees prior to the conference to share your goals for the conference experience.
Take notes and review them after each session to help jog your memory on what to bring back to your chapter.
Attend all sessions, listen actively and share your viewpoints.
Go in with an open mind - all the participants have valuable experiences and insights to share!
Approach people you don’t know and make connections - you never know who can support you down the line.
Get to know the speakers, volunteers and facilitators, if you can.
Connect on social media using #DDDCLC to interact with other participants and sisters.
Follow through on the action plan you will develop at CLC and connect with your officers’ council when you return to campus!
After CLC, utilize your network (e.g. chapter sisters, collegiate volunteers, CLC attendees and facilitators) to create change.
