What do we do if we have philanthropy, social events or other activities planned?
Chapters are advised to follow campus guidance and guidelines related to “non-essential” activities. Consider rescheduling your events for a later date.
If you have signed contracts with venues and vendors, review the contract language to see what accommodations may be permissible based on circumstances. Reach out to the vendor to see if they will consider allowing you to move your event to a later date.
What if we have not met our fundraising goal for St. Jude?
Please know that neither Tri Delta nor St. Jude expects chapters or members to meet or exceed any type of fundraising goal ever, let alone under the current circumstances. Know, too, that Tri Delta is on track to meet our 10-year, $60 million goal on time – or perhaps even a bit early, based on goal-to-date fundraising - $46M in just 6 years! Every dollar counts in the fight to end childhood cancer. Your dedication – and the efforts of your chapter and members – will be celebrated by Tri Delta and appreciated beyond measure by the patients and families of St. Jude!
